Advances in human society and technology go hand in hand. The internet in particular has changed the world as we know it in the last two decades, but has it been for the better? The internet has been embedded into our everyday lives and has changed how we interact with people on a day-to-day basis. According to sources of secondary data collected (Appendix 12), the number of internet users is over three billion and is still increasing at a steady rate, showing no signs of slowing down. While the internet can be seen as a catalyst for communication on a global scale, at the same time it creates a â€Å"lack of physical interactivity† (Appendix 7) that can make people feel isolated, despite having the ability to communicate with people the other side of the planet at the touch of a button.
